Weekly Camp Sessions

Ages 8 - 13

COST - $85.60 per session

Academy I - Designed for students who have had zero to a few lessons prior.  Students in the Beginner, Developmental, and Intermediate Clinics at the Black Hawk Tennis Club are urged to take this academy.  Students will learn proper form, scoring, and playing out points.

Academy II - Designed for students who have had lessons prior and can rally.  Students in the Junior Competition Clinic or students who have had a couple years of lessons or can play out points are urged to take this academy.  Students will improve their strokes as well as learn to play matches.

High School Academy

This class is for the serious high school tennis player looking to take his or her game to the next level.  Players will improve their strokes as well as learn new techniques to advance their level of play.  Players will also improve and learn new strategies and mental toughness throughout this clinic.  Players in this clinic will be encouraged to participate in local and statewide tournaments throughout the summer.  The Junior Tennis League at the Black Hawk Tennis Club is another way to play matches and increase match and mental toughness.

Tournament Level Academy

This is for the player who has years of tennis instruction and match experience.  This academy will focus on stroke improvement and learning the elements of the modern game of tennis.  Various strategies will be taught as well as mental toughness.  Players will be encouraged to participate in USTA sanctioned tournaments throughout the state as well as participate in the Junior Tennis League at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.  This academy will be split into five classes based on age and primarily ability.
